Help! may I qualify as a joint sponsor?
Hi,
Need your help and advise!
I want to know if I may apply or qualify as a joint sponsor? my niece which is a US citizen, is filling a petition for her mom (my sister) I became a Permanent resident last year, (in may 2015) I filled my taxes on January, I'm working and making enough to help them, so, do I need to be a resident for 3 years at lease? as in form I-864 Part 6 question 13.-I have filed Federal tax return for each of the three most recent tax years..... mention this, may I still be a joint sponsor?
