My AOS docs were received on September 2, My NOAs were mailed on 09/12/16 and received on 09/16/16.

I have noticed that biometric notices normally follow a few days after the receipt notices so I wanted to hear some experiences, maybe see some timelines.

If I don't get anything in the mail by Friday I will call them.

I am in Newark btw.

I just can't wait to get the work permit. I estimate I have quite a wait for the greencard, thinking I'll have an interview in April or May.

USCIS is just awful, my case is in Newark as well. I filed my 485 in beginning 1/2016. USCIS claimed to have sent out my biometric on ending of 1/2016 and I never recievd which they never filed electronically to me through my case status online. I waited for 7 months in the dark to realized this and then they rescheduled me in 9/2016!!! Outrageous, no one cares and took responsibility for this action.

I'm NJ filer too. My PD is 8/5/16 . NOS was 8/15/16. Until now I'm still waiting for my biometric notice . Have u got urs yet?

My husband called today but was redirected to a gov website which doesn't really do anything. I don't know if he tried to speak to a tier 2 officer though. whats a tier 2 officer?

It's kind of like a supervisor. The reps that answer the phone pretty much read off what's on the website. Just call them and ask for tier 2. They'll be able to provide you with more accurate info. Call at around 10/11. Sometimes there is a wait and they'll give you a call back.

1 (800) 375-5283 call that, I don't remember exactly what I pressed but after you put in your case info and you hear the recording, stay on the line. I believe it says something like provide updates for your case. That should send you to a representative, at that point ask for a tier 2 officer because the first representative will only read what's online to you.

My PD is 8/5/16 and I'm still waiting for my biometrics notice. Called yesterday and officer told me if nothing happens in 30 days to call again and she gave me a ref #.

good to know its not only me. I hope I will still get my EAD within the 90 days. I heard some people been getting them without biometrics.
