Newark NJ field office for I485

Hi, there. Wondering if there's anyone here with a similar case. My husband applied for my green card on march 17th, 2016 and within 2 1/2 months I had already been called for biometrics and received my EAC. Since April it says my case is ready to be scheduled for an interview so I'm waiting to be called since then. From what I've read, Green Card process in the Newark offices been a little delayed and it's taking about 8 months for people to be called for the interview. (Which is not bad at all if you ask me.) anyone who applied around the time I did (Newark office also) that could confirm that?

Hey, I think your case is way better than mine from the same Newark office my case is in. This is my timeline:

12/2015- USCIS received my US citizen spouse i130
1/2016- USCIS received my i 485
9/2016- went in for biometric appointment
9/2016- USCIS finally responded to my complaint of my case being out of processing time stating it will be a delay of hearing ANYTHING back about my case within 6 months

USCIS has never responded directly on my complaint filed by me or my spouse about how they have never updated our cases online to show that my initial biometric appointment was sent 1/2016 but I never received. Wish I knew this 7 months ago so I could have rescheduled. This is not fair at all....
