Plain confusion
Hello everyone!
Thanks to the person who created this forum. Good job!
So here is my story.
I got married in February 2016 and we filed for I-130 and I-485 in June for my greencard.
Biometrics done and last week we had our interview.
Since my birth certificate is foreign i had to translate it and get it notarized which i did. I brought it to the interview but not my original birth certificate.
Of course that didn't start off the interview well so we talked for almost 90 minutes. She seemed to bond with my wife and asked her many questions.
At the end the Officer told us she believes us and approves the I-130 since we were such a great couple. However, she said she cannot approve the I-485 just yet because she ran out of time and has to go through the letters of recommendations and she "might" have to see my original birth certificate.
She handed me a letter which where was crossed: Further review and at this point no further information is required.
I'm simple confused. It was Wednesday 10/12/2016.
SO how does this sound to you guys?
I'm just praying and i want to be relaxed. This is so nerv wrecking.
