Question:

My interview (adjustment of status) is finally scheduled on 11/17/16. However, my husband and I will be out of states from November 16 to December 2 for vacation. What should I do? Does anyone have encountered this situation before? Please advise.

Okay, thank you for your advice. I have already rescheduled my vacation. I have been waiting for 8 months. I am so glad it finally scheduled. I am waiting to receive the notice.

May I ask what is your priority date? I am also waiting for my interview to be scheduled. I submitted mine in May this year and then my online status says "As of July 28, we are ready to schedule you for interview..." It hasn't changed yet

received EAD and Advance Parole : May 5, 2016
interview scheduled : November 17, 2016
received interview notice : October 18, 2016
