Next will be your USCIS interview, unless approved without an interview, in maybe 3 more months.

Sorry to jump in, Ray. Is it possible to be approved just on documentation alone? That is with out an interview?

        Adrian,

There are two different scenarios for Adjustment approval without interviews:

        1. An actual approval based on submitted documents, but possibly with a request for additional evidence. This was not uncommon over the last couple of years, perhaps because of heavy USCIS workload, and/or very impressive Adjustment packages received by USCIS; and/or
        2. Actual desk reviews when a decision was made by USCIS to process the Adjustment without a live interview, but with an RFE request for the same additional evidence that normally goes to an interview. Some applicants reported this being done at a San Francisco office, but for applicants from other parts of the U.S.

In both such reviews described above, the full timeframe was usually several months past normal Adjustment timeframes, 8-13 months.

Thanks for the update, I had a previous interview to replace my GC but it was denied! The officer told me after that I was set for the AOS because I have been married for 39 years to a US Citizen plus we have a child born in Naples FLA. My PD is goofy tho, I did not file concurrently and my I-130 was granted in May 2016 and the PD is 01/05/2016, I sent my I-485 and was received o7/05/2016 and the PD is the same 01/05/2016
My understanding from the USCIS was that provided no RFE's it takes 87 days to process. So it is now way past,
