Hie everyone. We just submitted our I-485 application recently. How long does it take to receive the initial receipt from USCIS after submitting AOS application?

It took me 6 days to get my receipt notice. (my case layout so far is below)

- Form I-130 Received by USCIS September 9, 2016. Notice of action then received September 15, 2016
- Form I-765 Received by USCIS September 9, 2016. Notice of action then received September 15, 2016
- Form I-485 Received by USCIS September 9, 2016. Notice of action received september 15, 2016. Then they requested additional evidence October 7th, 2016. -
August 31st - packages mailed to Chicago office via Fedex
Sept 2nd - package recived according to Fedex
September 12- revived 4 text msgs confirming the my case is now in process
Sept 17- received four I 797
Sept 23- appointment for biometrics schedules for Oct 5th
Oct 5th Biometrics done in Portland Oregon Office
No changes of my Case on USCIS website since then

I post mine to Chicago office on 10/11, according to tracking it was received on 10/14. I haven't received any yet, no txt no mail, no cash the checks.
How's yours going?

We have the same exact timeline except on the biometric letter/scheduled date. A week later, my case changed to ready to be scheduled for interview. I am not expecting an interview anytime soon. Just waiting on the EADOriginally posted by BGforgreencard View PostComment

I called them yesterday, they don't even have my case in the system, also said it could takes a month. :l
I guess it's matter if waiting...

Why would you leave? Leaving means you have abandoned the process. Please stay put and just be a bit more patient. I 131 Advanced Parol approved
Update on my case:
November/22/ 2016 I-131 was approved
On November /17/2016 I called and requested review on my case as it was 75 days pending after filing concurrently.
Crossing fingers I would recieve a notice for interview and work permit .
Local office is Portland OregonComment
