After Interview RFE divorce decree where to get??????

My husband married a girl almost 30 years ago and she left him without proceeding the divorce. Today we went to the interview the office said that we have to provide the proof of the termination of his previous marriage. However, my husband and that girl have lost touch for almost 30 years, it's a long separation, what should we do now??????? Is he able to get the divorce decree by himself? Is our marriage a bigamy?

Yes, your husband have to file a divorce by himself. After that just need to mail certified letter to notice the girl also publish on news paper if no response then court gonna order to approve your husband's divorce. ( Just hire a paper lawyer or go to your local gov ask for help. Very easy. It takes about one month+)

It is sort of "accidental bigamy" did he file a missing person report on her? Did he do all he could to locate her?

He can file for divorce, and do what is called a Public posting, either at the bulletin at his local courthouse or take a ad out in the newspaper. The court will decide what paper to run his ad in.
He can do this all himself , no need for a attorney. It takes a bit longer then normal, depending on the regulation of the state he lives in, but it can be accomplished.
