My husband and I have been having so many issues with the immigration process just recently. However, the one I'm most worried about right now is our co sponsor not being accepted.
My income was rejected via RFIE.
There is absolutely no one else we can use at this point. Our co sponsor is a friend of mine who was a student last year there he made no income. However, for all of 2016 he's been working and is making $40,000 a year.. more than enough to co sponsor my husband. I added an explanation when sending out the paperwork to USCIS, stating that the co sponsor does make enough but that he was a student last year and that's why he made so little on his tax information. What I'm concerned is that we will still be denied, and if that's the case I don't know what to do. Aren't they still supposed to accept the co sponsor if he makes enough? Should I hire a lawyer at this point? We are really lost and it's been difficult for us with solely my income. Please help. Thank you.
