Hi there-
I have a quick question about i-94 status and the EAD card.
My husband's i-485 adjustment status is currently pending (interview scheduled for next month).
He has a currently approved EAD/advanced parole card (approved through July 2017).
His work VISA expires (L-1), 11/18/16 - we were told *not* to renew it as we have an approved AED card (we were told this would miss up the i-485 adjustment process).
However, we recently checked his i-94 online and it says approved through 11/2017 (this doesn't match his AED card approval, so we aren't sure where this date comes from?).
As an aside, we did travel outside of the country last month and he used his AED/advanced parole card to get back in the country. The immigration control officer said *not* to travel on his VISA, only his 512 card.
SO, in short, any thoughts as to why the i-94 card now says 11/2017 expiration? Is this something that was updated at the airport?
Thanks!!
