Can we apply I-485 and I-824 together?

My employer is getting ready to apply for I-485 but my daughter is in India, Can we apply her I-824 along with my I-485 application? if yes, what are the documents needs to be submitted along with I-824?

The I-485, for Adjustment of Status, is initiated for someone inside the U.S., to be processed inside the U.S.

This seems like an unusual twist on use of the form I-485, since there are other preexisting requirements to legally immigrate a person to the U.S. At the very least, I think your interpretation of this citation may be missing the context in which it is written. Can you provide the link from where you pulled this citation, to allow us to look at the surrounding context.

Yes you can. Note that the consular processing will not be initiated until your I-485 is approved, so it will be a while before your daughter can come to the US this way.

If you are on H-1b or L-1, it would be faster for your daughter to come to the US on H-4 or L-2, respectively, and then file I-485 (it needs to be filed before your I-485 is approved).

Choose B. I think you mean for the children other than your daughter from India who you wanted to follow to join; as she will consular process and will not involve I-485 (unless you changed your mind about what you want her to do).
