Hi friends. I need your advice. I applied for adjustment of status from Chicago since March 23rd then received my EAD on the 29th of September . Can someone help me with the estimated time to expect an interview for the temporal green card? . My wife and I got married since January and she is a citizen . Does it take that much to get me scheduled for interview in Illinois ? I really need to travel to Africa . Thanks.

Did you apply for the Advance Parole with your EAD? Interviews Appointment are around a year after your Priority Date. You can always ask for an emergency Advance Parole if you really have to travel for an emergency matter.
