My wife and I mailed everything, but since I don't make enough we're using my father as a joint sponsor. We just got a letter the other day saying we need to send more information and one of the things is a letter of employment for my retired father. Do we just not send that? He's technically self-employed. He has been his whole life. He officially retired but he still owns two commercial properties and just started involvement on a third. I'm just confused what he should write. A statement with the information they want?
