Does anyone have any experience with going to the NYC office without an Infopass appointment? It's been about 30 days since receiving the notification that my green card was mailed, but I haven't received anything in the mail yet. I received the welcome letter two days after getting the case approved, but still no card. Hoping to get a stamp for travel abroad for the end of the year, but there doesn't seem to be any available Infopass appointments online. Every day it says no appointments available. I don't think I'd have time for them to produce a new card before the end of the year.

I will recommend you to try getting into the Infopass appointment very early in the morning, this means 4am, 5am, 6am. The appointments are open each day (regardless of what the website says) the website will only show one day available each day.
If you want to get an Infopass, you have to try to go into the website as soon as is "the following day". I don't think you can get a walkin' appointment. Also, call USCIS 800 number and they might be able to schedule one for you because you need to travel.
Thant's how I got a Infopass appointment, first I couldn't find anything and just had to check the website every hour.
Good luck!
