Hi, I just received a Request for Initial Evidence, my husband does not meet the requirement for the I-864. Therefore my Father-in-law is going to file as my joint sponsor.
My question is, I know that my Father in Law will have to file the I-864 and we will send all his tax reports. However, in the request for initial evidence they were asking for a proof that my husband has enough income, but we want to simplify things by just having a joint sponsor.
Should I just sent the new I-864 from my father in law and no other document from my husband?
or should I sent the form I-864 again from my husband just in case? They asked for his paystubs and employment letter, but he is not going to meet the requirements and my father-in-law exceeds the 125%.
And about my joint sponsor Affidavit of Support, Is it always necessary to send an employment letter? or only the tax reports (2013,2014 and 2015) are enough? His adjust gross income by itself is enough for the household size.
Thank you!
