Anyone has an idea how long it will be before we receive an interview letter for the permanent resident card? We were approved for EAD/Travel. Biometrics were already taken 11/2. Can someone share their experience about the interview letter. It will be appreciated.

Hi, just to be clear, i don't understood. If you have received the interview letter in you mail, it must contains the interview appointment date. If not, then when you online status change to "Interview was scheduled" appears a notice date for it, just a month later of it.

Sorry for the confusion, but the answer is 'no' we have not received the interview letter. I was wondering how long it would be before we receive such letter in the mail i.e., a month, six months, etc. If I understand you correctly, then I will need to check online to see if there is an appointment date scheduled. Am I correct?

Yes you need to continue reviewing your status online and calling them too.

But the whole process is around 5 - 6 months, you said that you got your EAD card, im sure that your interview appointment isn't far away.

When you check your status online and appears "My Appointment was scheduled on November 27 / 2016 ( Its an example ) " but you haven't received a letter in your mail with the exactly date, the most of times, your appointment date is one month later of this date, in this example December 28 / 2016. If your status Looks like " Case is ready to be scheduled" There are no way to know a exactly day because depends of each field office. Then you need to wait for ...
