    What if I am fired before my Green Card comes through?

    Hi

    I have filed I-485 and EAD\ AP. All of which i am awaiting. I expect the EAD\AP to be here soon but the actual green card will likely take a few more months. What if my employer fires me or lays me off during this time?
    Can i switch employers and keep my green card?
