  • AOS from Florida. Help please!

We have sent our paperwork for the immigration process to take place. I came on a tourist visa and married a US Citizen this past July.
We sent all the paperwork in August
    The following forms were sent:

    I-130
    I-485
    I-765

They were received August 23, 2016.
    Here is my timeline

    August 23, 2016 USCIS received -130,I-485,I-765
I got the I-797 notice of action for them. I had to resend I-765 due to improper filling.
    September 12, 2016 USCIS received I-765
September 18, 2016 USCIS sent me the biometrics appointment letter.
    September 30, 2016 Biometrics done
October 3, 2016 Request for more evidence on i-485
October 25, 2016 USCIS received the evidence

Ever since, I have not heard anything from immigration or received emails. I had understood that the work permit
takes around 3 months from receipt date or about a month and a half after doing the biometrics.
Again, no contact from them so far.

I already filed an inquiry with them but they sent an email saying that I wont hear anything on the inquiry until
    December 18, 2016.

ANY THOUGHTS OR SUGGESTIONS ON WHAT ACTION I SHOULD TAKE?

Thank you so much for all the help and everyone's experiences in this forum. It really comforts when you
read other peoples success stories. We all know the waiting game is the worst thing about this whole process.

    Orlando Field Office

Hello BLP, I'm here in Central Florida. Your case is currently being checked at the MSC "Missouri Service Center" Thats where all cases get checked and assembled before being handed off to the neares field office in your area. Mine is near the airport MCO in Orlando. Because you experienced 2 RFE's the process stops until they are satisfied. Also depending on your status filed you may have to wait for a visa # which in some cases could be years. Unless you filed as an immediate relalitive or spouse your I-130 petition will be approved in 5 months. The critical piece of your case is your "Priority #" which will be indicated at the top of your "Notice of Action". That date will determine when your case begins processing.
Orlando is currently processing I-485's with priority dates from March 2016. My PD is Jan 2016 and still I have not been called yet.

P.S forget about inquiring about your case! USCIS will not give you an answer unless your case is over 6 months from date of receipt.

Adrian Guber you seems to be knowledgeable about this. Please do you have any experience with renewal of EAD based on a pending AOS? I am in Houston applied to renew my ead which will expire in a couple of months. My application for both renewal of work authorization and advance parole were received on the 18th. This week I received an email from USCIS confirming that they received my application and that they will send me the notice of action. When I looked up the MSC number it shows that it is my application for advanced parole that they sent me an email about. I am not sure if this is the standard for renewal of EAD. I was hoping to received to separate emails with two different MSC numbers just as I received 4 separate emails with 4 different MSC numbers when I first started my AOS application. Please any insight or idea you have about this, kindly share with me please. Thanks.

Jay, sorry but I have no experience with EAD.
