AOS approved without interview!

Hello everyone! I have been a silent reader since my K1/fiancee visa journey and its amazing how this site have helped us go through all these nerve wracking immigration processes! I had a smooth AOS and here it goes:
Aug. 11, 2016: I-485, I-765, I-131 packet received by USCIS
Aug. 18 : check cashed
Sep. 3 : mail received for biometrics appointment
Sep. 29 : biometrics done
Oct. 10 : I-131 approved at case tracker
Oct. 15 : I-765 new card in production at case tracker
Oct. 28 : card mailed
Nov. 3 : EAD/AP card received from mail
Dec. 10 : I-485/AOS approved
*awaiting GC to be mailed! Praise to God! If you guys have questions I would love to help.

did the status online for your I-485 ever change to "ready to be scheduled for interview"? Or did it just go right to application approved ?

like how did you do it without any interview man. Or k1 visa doesnt need any interview once you in america because you passed through an interview before your arrival in america?

It just go right to application approved. Didn't receive notice that tells me I am exempted from interview either. Then the status changed to card mailed.

Well, K1 visa holders still go through interviews, most that I know of atleast. I included in my aos package every document necessary. My vaccination worksheet, proof of marriage like copies of wedding and trips photos, a true copy of our marriage certificate. Just make sure you filled in those forms right and organize them.
