Well my wife and I attended our interview yesterday at the Atlanta Field Office. 12/12/16
We walked in nervous and were a bit intimidated by the officer who made it clear what documents she wanted and what she wanted to hear. For the first 15-25 minutes the atmosphere seemed fairly hostile and she was a bit upset that my lease agreement did not include all the pages. I printed only part of it. I'm glad I brought an array of documents to prove our relationship and several photo's. When we got into the yes or No questions I answered to the best of my knowledge since I know we are under oath. As we started to rap things up she gave some advice as to what documents I would need to bring when I return for my 10 year green card, but that she has seen enough to establish our relationship. Also told me to expect my Green Card mid January. She gathered my documents which were my "Drivers License, Pilot License, EAD Card, social security" made copies and returned them to me. She then handed me a notice that said "Your application has been recommended for approval. A Final decision will be mailed once your case is complete". I was still too nervous to be excited, since it seemed that we had successfully made it through the interview. On the drive back home I was going over things asked in my head, and realized that I had a made a mistake. When I was asked the last time I was out of the country based on the date I submitted on my I-485 application I said yes, but realized that I had actually left another time and had the date stamped in my passport. It was a day flight where I dropped a passenger off in the Caribbean and returned back to Florida. It was an honest mistake but I'm a bit worried, since I don't want it to be considered my lying under oath.
Should I set up a info-pass appointment to update them, or am I overreacting? I'm sure they have access to all that information but I won't want it to be seen as me providing false information.
