My wife and I are on L1A/L2 status but my visa (PRD date) will expire on Dec 28 2016, after almost 7 years in the US. I got suspended from my work and they are sponsoring my GC, which my I-485 application was received on Aug 9th 2016. Understand that they will not ask for my visa extension and I am afraid they could try to fire me after my visa expires for simplicity. Do I keep any of my L1 rights after its expiration and is there anything I can do to avoid losing my adjustment of status condition and have to leave the country? Thanks
