Hi,
I saw multiple threads about people going to interview (more than 1 year after medical) and IO told them that medical was expired and RFE will be issued. In some cases this delays the application and case gets stuck etc.
My question is, since I know medical is over 1 year before my AOS interview, what is the best course of action? Should I get the medical done and mail it to USCIS (some websites seem to suggest only do it if RFE is received?), or should I take the sealed medical with me to the interview and hand it over to IO? Or the third option of mailing the sealed and carrying the unsealed envelope to the interview? (I don't know, can we get 2 sealed medicals?)
Assuming IO is ready to make decision, and only medical is the issue (like i see in my threads), would handing over sealed medical to IO during the interview allow him to make decision at the interview? Or, there is still administrative delays in processing the medical (e.g. if it is processed by other departments/people etc).
Thanks in advance
