How is Processing Time calculated for I485

Dear All,

Just need a clarification on how is the processing time for the I485 is calculated..

1) Is it calculated from the Priority Date of Application
2) Or is it calculated from the time that the i485 application is logged into the system

The website says to contact them only if your case is current...

So when do I consider if my case is current ???

Hello Houston, I have posted in the family section the same question as I did not file concurrently.
After studying how applications are processed on the USCIS it leaves me to believe that the processing begins at the reciept date.

My Priority Date : April 7 2014
I filed in Houston : Sept 12 2016
Acceptance Date : Oct 24 2016
Biometrics : Dec 1 2016

As per my Lawyer I do not need a personal interview as I am an EB5 approval

Nov 17 2016 - recd a letter stating that since too much load in Houston, my case is moved to California SC - to process my case faster

Processing Time in Houston ; Currently March 2016
Processing Time in California ; Currently March 2015

So how will my case go faster ???

Very strange !!.., any suggestions !!!
