  • case processing times, not updated this month

    I'm wondering if it's my browser or uscis hasn't really updated the processing times since Nov 16;
    I tried clearing my histories, cookies, etc,
    uscis says they usually update around every 15th of each month.

        Adeleke Muideen Ololade,

        Your priority date can be found in 2 locations depending how you filed.
        1) If you filed non-concurrant (meaning you filed for 1-130 first and then you did the rest of the adjustment of status package after approval) then the priority date would be on the I-171 approval notice; the date of petition filed would be your priority date.
        2) On your I-797C Notice for your I-485 receipt on the top left hand side under your receipt number you should see it state "priority date".

        Hope this information is useful to you and are able to locate your priority date.

        B.Ro.

          I filled both i-130 and all other forms together including i-485. And am hoping to received my I-797. Is the priority date going to be on that i-797 I am going to receive like that? Thank you very much and appreciate your answer!

            Yes. When you receive your I-797 form your will get one for each application. Look at the one for your I-485 and it will be there. Please note that it can take up to 30 days for USCIS to mail out your I-797 notices. So for istance if you mailed out your packet on 11/25/2016 and you should have gotten something by 12/25/2016. After that date you can call USCIS and see what the status is.

            Hope this is helpful.

              Oh ok. I understand a little now and thank you very much. And does that mean they will send me different i-797 for each application form so I will see the each priority date on the i-797. Or only for the I-485 I would see it.? Thanks a lot for this information
