Hey guys, please how does the uscis e-request works? My interview has been scheduled and i am yet to receive my interview letter. If i go to the uscis e-request and request for a copy of the notice will i receive a copy instantly and print it out?

Hello Jay, USCIS usually asks that an application be over 6 months in process before you ask for a status enquiry. The E Tool initiates an enquiry and the answer to your question is "No" it will not produce a an immediate copy as I understand it.Originally posted by jayleno View Post

I was granted I-130 petition in May 2016 my PD is 01/05/2016 (I did not file concurrent)
I filed my AOS I-485 and it was recieved 07/0502016 PD is 01/05/2016 (I am a previous perm resident)
So as of the end of this year my I-485 is 5 months in process! (No RFE, biometrics completed for the second time)
USCIS says I must wait at least 6 months from date of reciept before initiationg an enquiry. (Either with e-tool or via paper form)
So Jay if you are over 6 months into processing your I-485 initiate an enquiry.Comment
