  • AOS Under B2

    Hi,
Was wondering if anyone has any experience adjusting under B2 Status? We were married in November of 2016. Just filed on Dec 29. My now husband entered the US in early September. We always thought of getting married, just didn't decide until this visit to get married.

    Any info would be great

You are a US citizen, right? No problem.

I am. I was just reading it could be more difficult than with a fiancé visa. Any thoughts?

No reason why it should be difficult. It's the simplest way for you now.

I'm hoping so. I just keep reading about things like if an officer thinks there was intent when he came to the US and wound up staying here and we got married.

AOS for immediate relatives cannot be denied for immigrant intent.
