My mother and I applied for adjustment of status in 2001 we went to the interview on july 8,2002 and the agent said in one month we will receive our green card. My mother received hers in the beginning of august 2002. but i have not receive anything and its now 2006. on november of 2005 i went to one of those infopass appointments. all they told me was that my case was pending. then on february 16 2006 i went to get fingerprinted once again. does this mean they are going to finally do something? who else has gone throught something like this?

They are doing something now since they asked you to update your biometrics that means the file is open and they are working on it some how but I would keep calling and asking to speak to an officer and if he/or she didn't give you a good answer about the delay ask for his supervisor, if that is a negative. I would contact the senator office and explain the problem and they well help. If all of that is not good. Contact an attorney and let him/or her take care of it. Just don't wait again!!!
