Hi, I am a F-1 student, visa expiring on June 2018 and I-20 expiring on May 2021. I started my first year at college in Fall 2016. After a semester, during winter break (now), I moved to another city to live with my boyfriend (US citizen) and got married here. I won't be in school anymore. In order to apply for AoS, what kind of forms do I (or my husband) need to get done? Also would I have to leave country since I'm not in school anymore for the Spring semester?

You can look at uscis website to find out more details! I'll recommend to get an attorney since your case will be a bit different because you are dropping out of school. Married to U.S citizen doesn't guarantee you anything so apply for your paper work- you should maintain your F1 status just in case things goes wrong.

You do not need an attorney. This is very straightforward and it doesn't matter a single bit whether you are in status or not. The basic forms are I-130 and I-485, which should be filed together. Each form has many required documents and forms that need to be attached; read the instructions for what is needed. It is recommended to also file I-765 for EAD and I-131 for Advance Parole to allow her to work and/or travel in the meantime.
This is my personal opinion and is not to be construed as legal advice.
