Applying for Adjustment of status through marriage. Two Part question

    First question
the current income of the sponsor on the Form I-864 Part 6 question 2
We don't have the W2s for 2016 to support the current income. Is it okay to put the income for 2016 without the supporting documentation?

    Second question

can i include my income in the current annual household income? we live in different states because of our job situations and we have not live together after our marriage. we are planning to move together later in the year.

    thanks

You must put your current (i.e. this very moment) income where it asks for current income. Not last month's income. Not last year's. Must be this moment's. W-2s never prove current income. Current income is proven by pay stubs and/or employer letter.

The intending immigrant's income can be counted as long as the immigrant is working legally, and the income will continue after immigrating (which usually just means the job is in the US).

This is my personal opinion and is not to be construed as legal advice.

Question - Does I-864 go along with I-130 or I-485?
