hi guys,
i am the petitioner for my parents and back in may we received a RFE for my 2015 tax returns. our lawyer did not send them in till july. USICIS received them on 7/13 and since then we have not received any sort of notification from USCIS. i called uscis a month or so ago and the person on the phone told me that the newark, nj is working on cases from oct 2015. my parents did have their fingerprints scanned and did receive their EAD. i am worried that since tax season is coming up again by the time they get to our case they will need my new taxes and we will back at square one.
i spoke with my lawyer and she basically told me to be patient. please advise
