Returning with Valid Visa AND Advanced Parole
My father has applied for I-485 status and has only received the receipt for the same so far. Its been more than 6 months and we were expecting to get to finger printing. He had to travel in the meantime. He also has a 10 year valid visitor visa. When he returned from India last week, the immigration officer stamped his passport as a B2 visitor and did not ask for the parole. My dad says he tried to show it her and she said she did not want any other docs. What should he do now? Go to INS office and get his parole stamped as it has been used once?
