  • Interview officer wanted more evidence.

Hello all. I'm new to this and have seen a lot of people get good help and good direction so I'm here for the same. A little background for y'all ... I petitioned for my wife and on December 2nd of 2016 we had our interview for adjustment of status... interview went good, didn't asked a crazy amount of questions and he was very nice. This happen in Houston by the way... well it took over a year to get this interview so of course the medical exam my wife took is now expired... so he said we'd have to get that done again, also some evidence had different addresses on them so he asked for a form that stated the last 5 years of where we've lived (something the place we are getting this done thru, should of had) he then asked for sworn affidavits from family or friends and a little more proof of marriage, nothing that we can't handle... we have all the proof I feel we need, he gave us a print out of where to send everything... which was the location we actually had the interview and he said it was coming back to him so he didn't need duplicates of anything, he just said make copies of the pictures to send because of course he wasn't going to keep our albums... so we got everything he has asked for and put it all together for him nice and neatly, then sent it out via certified mail... well on the 24th of this month, we got an update on the uscis case update tracker saying my correspondence was rcvd and they are reviewing it and they will notify me by mail
If they need anything... now it's been almost a week... no update, not panicking or anything but just want to know if anyone else is going through this or has gone through this? How long did it take?

I'm surprised they had to make you go through all that. I also had my interview last week in Houston and got approved on the spot. The medical was expired but I brought along a new medical.
