Do all GC process alone?

Hello everyone

I'm wondering if it's a good a idea to do the Green Card process without any legal help?
Any personal experience? Advices? Reasons to do or not do it?

We are a legitimate marriage, my husband overstayed his tourist visa traveling with his parents when he was 16. Now he is 24 and he hasn't left the country. Thanks in advance

You are a US citizen, right? From what you have said so far, it sounds like a straightforward case and there shouldn't be a need for a lawyer.
