You mentioned about e-verify! I tried but says the info cannot be verified. Is it a must to verify with last 4 digit on credit card?
I used my SSN to verify as I already had one and that worked for me. I don't recall being asked to verify any credit card details.

I think the options may differ based on what information they have available. My SSN was disclosed on all the forms we mailed as was my existing alien registration # (which as I said has remained the same throughout the process) and is the one displayed on my EAD.

Do you have your SS card yet? Does it indicate and restrictions on it‚ such as "Valid for work with ..."?

      • Still no progress

I just came back from my info pass today. I can't believe that they just sent in my background check last week May 6th... at least that's what the officer from the info pass told me. So I have to wait again for them to finish the background check...I don't know what to do now..

        • Hi Everyone, I have been following this thread for a while. I want to know what the info pass is and how to raise that request. I did my application in mid March.

          Thanks!

Link: https://my.uscis.gov/appointment - just schedule an appointment with your field office. They also do walk-ins but they only call you after the people with appointments are done, so you should schedule one. Also go early because there will be security.

My wife received her combo card today. Thanks to everyone who posted so were able to see what the normal processing times were. Also got the idea to call our Senators office from this forum, we got approved a few days after our case worker had a conference call with them. She also called me today to confirm we received the card, which makes me think she was keeping in touch with them and knew it would be delivered today.

            PD: 1/17/2017
            Bio: 2/17/2017 (30 days)
Combo card in hand: 5/17/2017 (120 days).

We leave for our trip in 4 days so it was a close call.

In my case, I have an EAD card that expires on May 31st, 2017. This has got me concerned because that would mean break in employment. So for the InfoPass appointment, is there a number of days after which you can do this or can I schedule it any time when my application is in process? Would they be able to help me with my EAD renewal? my application for AOS is pending with USCIS with the case status "Interview is ready to be scheduled" since April 28th, 2017.

              Thanks!

              • Medical details

I have read about people having issues with their medicals because they did not include a gonorrhea test which I believe was introduced in August last year and some Doctors did not immediately start adding that test.

I never received a copy of my medical from the Doctors office so I called them to check and see if they had performed the gonorrhea test. They checked for me and said they had indeed performed the test‚ but the forms have changed as of February and when they submitted the results for that test it was just on a piece of paper. They told me they will fill out the medical again on the latest forms but the results will be dated as of November which is when they actually completed them.

I'm going to pick that up tomorrow and that has put my mind to rest about having potential issues due to an outdated medical‚ the last thing I want is to end up with a delayed decision due to something that could of been avoided.

If any of you have an upcoming interview‚ you might want to verify the medical included the gonorrhea test as well. If like me you didn't get a copy for yourself‚*you should be able to get that information from the Doctor that performed the medical for you.

Did you speak to someone or file the SR's online? You could try calling and asking to talk to a Tier 2 agent and that might help

I called the customer services people and they made the SR for me. How can you get to talk to Tier 2 agent?

You could explain to them that you have raised previous service requests and still do not have your EAD and as it pas the 90 days you would like to speak to a Tier 2 agent. I do think there may be a period that has to have elapsed before you can request another SR after having done one. For some reason I think it is 14 days‚ but I could be wrong.

When I called for my second service request‚ I explained it had been over 90 days (it was over 100 days for me at the time) and wondered if I could speak to a Tier 2 agent. The person I spoke to was very polite and told me they would connect. I was passed to a message that said there was something like a 90 minute wait and to leave a callback number. For whatever reason I couldn't get the system to recognize the input from my phone (I was on my iPhone and the key presses didn't seem to register) and ended up being disconnected.

I called back and spoke to another agent and explained to them what had happened. They asked me some questions and then transferred me this time to a live person. That person told me that my PD was after the currently indicated processing time for EAD at the National Benefits Center and that the 90 day rule for EAD was no longer in effect as of January this year. Based on the current processing date indicated by the NBC they told me I was within normal processing time and I basically just had to wait. They said I should expect something by the end of the month (this was on 5/6). I asked if they were a Tier 2 agent and they told me they were an immigration officer (so I don't really know if they were or were not based on their answer).

Anyways‚ to say the least I was a little frustrated and disappointed after the call but then just a few hours later I received text and email notification that my card was ordered. I have no idea if requesting a Tier 2 agent had anything to do with it‚ I don't know if even though I couldn't put in my callback number an agent somehow reviewed my case. I don't know if it had anything to do with the person I spoke to in person and I don't know if it was just a big coincidence.

I don't think I put it anywhere in my replies to you‚ but my PD is 1/17

                            • Interviews scheduled for January filers?

                              January Filers,
Have any of you had your interviews scheduled yet? I'm curious where everyone is as of now. So far my wife has received her EAD but has not had her interview scheduled yet. Her PD is 1/27/17 (Honolulu Field Office). Thanks!
