I would expect to the get the card this week or next week.

It states on the notice "You cannot use this notice as proof of your employment authorization"

        • Day 111

Day 111, we leave for our trip in exactly 2 weeks. Spoke with an officer who said they should be making a decision on the combo card within 2 weeks (which obviously don't help for the trip). He said he was surprised its been this long without a RFE but wait times have increased recently. They did respond to our request for service on Friday (day 108) but all that the letter says is they are still processing the case.

If its not approved by tomorrow or Wednesday it is unlikely we will receive the card in time and most likely I will be going on our honeymoon alone or just let it go to waste (trip is non refundable). Had already arranged for flowers to be waiting for us etc. I wish I had called to involve a congressman earlier, it seems like that works well but even they said there isn't much they can do because it takes two weeks for USCIS to respond to them. Ultimately its my fault, I should never have planned a trip with this pending even though when we applied the processing times said 75-90 days.

You can find the current information here. There are also links to the latest versions of the forms and detailed instructions.

              I-130 information

Use this form if you (the petitioner) are a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or U.S. national and you need to establish your qualifying relationship with an eligible relative (the beneficiary) who wishes to come to or stay in the United States permanently and apply for the Permanent Resident Card (also called a Green Card).

              Filing Fee : $535, effective 12 a.m. Eastern U.S. time, December 23, 2016.

              I-485 Information

Use this form to apply for lawful permanent resident status if you are in the United States.

Filing Forms I-765 and I-131 with Form I-485

Please note that, if you file Form I-485 to adjust your status as a permanent resident on or after July 30, 2007, no additional fee is required to also file an application for employment authorization on Form I-765 and/or advance parole on Form I-131. You may file these forms together. If you choose instead to file Form I-765 and/or Form I-131 separately after July 30, 2007, you must also submit a copy of your I-797C, Notice of Action, receipt as evidence of that you filed a Form I-485.

If you filed your Form I-485 before July 30, 2007, you must pay the fees associated with Forms I-765 and/or I-131 when you file them.

Filing Fee : See the form instructions and Special Instructions for payment details, effective 12 a.m. Eastern U.S. time, December 23, 2016. You must make your check payable to Department of Homeland Security.

There are various prices for the i-485 depending on your age and other criteria. There is no charge for filing for I-765 (EAD) with the I-485

              Assuming this is your demographic

              Age 14 – 78 $1,140 (I-485 fee) + $85 (biometrics fee) = $1,225 (total)

You should have one check for each (one for the I-130 & one for the I-485)

Make sure to verify before you mail your package that you have the latest forms and the most current prices.

The information is kept current on those pages and it is your responsibility to make sure you have the latest forms and correct fees. Those pages include what versions of forms are accepted and when older versions are no longer accepted.

There are similar pages for each and every USCIS form and they all include in depth instructions.

Geez.. I feel you man. So you have 2 more weeks left, u might still be able to receive the card just right before the trip.

My PD is on Jan 26th, 2017.
Biometric: Feb 14th, 2017 (Walked in one week early)
Raised Service Request for my I765 on Apr 14th, 2017 (usually if your 765 approves, 131 will approve same time, it comes with a Combo Card)
Finally received notification by e-mails, test messages on May 4th, 2017, Case has approved
May 8th 2017. Received NOA 797 Receipts of both 765 & 131 in mail, and also e-mails and texts informed me they have mailed me my card.

I'm hoping my card will arrive within this week. You see Jan & Feb filers are finally getting approved all in the sudden lately, so don't lose your faith, keep praying.
We have planned a wedding since Feb, I'll have to leave the country on 6/19, when I found out the processing time is gonna be a lot longer, I was really really worried and stressed!
Luckily you don't have any RFE. I personally went to infopass myself a month ago, at the window they couldn't do anything because EAD card decision is from NBC, not the local field office. However, I would definitely try anything I could, and keep calling customer service on the phone ( I know... they will only tell you the answer which you can find online from ur account) My personal experience just happened couple of days ago, the notifications will pop up all in the sudden. if you still have 2 weeks, you might still have chance to receive it. I"ll pray for you.

there's a great app to track from your phone, called "Case Tracker"(the icon has eagle and US flag on it). Just put all your case number, you can refresh the page all day long easily, when USCIS updates anything on your case, the app will tell you right away! strongly recommended. Good luck, I hope you guys will hear great news very very soon. keep us updated with the good news

I m on the same boat with you. I did wedding ceremony arrangement based on 3 months time period for EAD/ advanced parol without thinking they might be backed up.... We paid for it already as we'll...Tomorrow is going to be exactly 90 days since I applied. No updates so far. I'm stressed as long as my guests who keep asking me if I will show up for my own wedding,
Customer service is useless, but I keep calling them anyway. Every hour I check my phone for any updates.
Why is it some people get combo card on time, but other wait longer even with priority date earlier which is not fair? My theory is that some officers who get applications proceed them with timely manner, but other just no so competent. Files are just getting dusty on their table since they are postponing things. And this is a result, we are waiting longer that we suppose to...
When I filled ,my receipts came with no dates. My receipt numbers were not entered to the system till March 20, with priority date February 10. I already had a feeling that my case went to not competent officer , and here you go , the prove, no updates at all.
Any way I wish you a best of luck, hopefully you get an approval within this week, and you will receive a card for your spouse next week and your trip is not waisted. Fingers crossed !🙏

                    • Hey guys, I was just wondering how long does it usually take for the EAD card to be delivered. They sent it on last Friday and I just called the USCIS for the tracking number but they still don't have it. I've had problems with my post office earlier and I really don't want to miss this.

You can go to USPS.com and create an account that lets you configure it to track packages being delivered to you. I did that the other day and just checked online and can see a package is in transit to me.

I forget exactly but I think it is under the "Track and Manage" menu option

                        Shipped From:
US CITIZENSHIP AND IMMIGRATION SERVICE (CPF)

                        TOMORROW
                        11
                        Expected

It also includes the tracking #.

The status on the USCIS site has not updated since the "Your Case Status: Card/ Document Production" email was sent on 5/8.

So for me it is going to be a 3 day turnaround from notification (5/8) to delivery (5/11)

Hello January Filers! it's great to see many of our cases are moving forward.

If they are requesting Initial evidence it means it is a document that is already specified in a form. In my case, the translated Birth Certificate I sent them was not ok since it wasn't translated in the USA. This was a document I thought I had sent correctly and was really concerned when I got the RFIE email. Try not to stress yet until you get the slip specifying what this is about, I know it's hard to do. It might end up being something small like in my case. I would crosscheck to see if they are requesting RFIE or RFE since each one affects your I-765 differently as it says on the link below:

Thank You. It is RFIE. I just called USCIS and they said RFIE on I-485 does not affect I-765 and I-131. I hope he is true.
Also, when I submitted my Joint sponsor's affidavit of support form, I only provided his tax return along with the form. I googled about it and got to know that Passport copy of joint sponsor's need to be submitted as well to show he/she is US citizen or National. I think that could be a reason because I haven't provided any passport copy.
