  • My case status (in Houston, TX)

    Hello everyone,

Here's the background for our case~
    Co-filed forms: I-130, I-485, I-765, and I-131

Mailed package via USPS to Chicago Lockbox: 8/13/2016
    E-Notification (Email/Text): 8/24/2016
    Biometrics Appt: 9/22/2016
    I-765 and I-131 approval notice: 10/20/2016
EAD card received (with advanced parole) : 11/4/2016

No more updates or status change on the website since then. I heard Houston is slow on processing for interviews.... , but are we still in the normal waiting range?

Anybody having similar filing timeline or filing in Houston as well?

    Thank you

For I-485 , It says the finger print fee was received. Our National Benefits Center location is working on your case. We mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case.
For I-130, It says case was received, we sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case.
We have received both EAD and AP pretty soon.
What is your timeline and status?
        Thanks

          Hey

I am in almost the exact same situation (same lockbox, same field office etc) so I think it's normal. My fingerprinting date was the same as yours (09/22), and received my EAD shortly after. Now my status also says fingerprint fee was received and I haven't received further updates, so I think we are probably processed in the same batch and its just a matter of time.

I had a wait for 13 months from the day I filed to get an interview. I think you will be looking at probably 12 - 13 months from the day you filed to get an interview. Houston has a long wait.

Have you used your advanced parole to leave the country and return?

Both of I-765 and I-131 informed through text message first, and mail later.
