Question About EAD/AP - 75days

I would like to ask when is the start of 75 days counting. Is it,

1. After the USCIS received all your application as per the receipt number, or;
2. After they got your fingerprints scanning(biometrics)

I am just excited to apply for job and work as I am unemployed for almost a year. And at the same time help my husband with the expenses.

I believe it is #1. I called them after 75 days had passed from receipt date. Unfortunately for me, an RFE on my I-485 reset my EAD date counter, but the lady at USCIS seemed to suggest it would have otherwise been calculated from the receipt date.

Cool! According to our receipt number, they received our Application on 23rd of December 2016.

I just had my Biometrics yesterday Feb 8.

But as you said it is #1 and today marks the 48th day.

Hoping we wont get any RFE.
