  • Forgot to submit medical records when I filed i-485

My mother filed a petition for me in Jan 2011

I filed for AOS (for permanent residency , AP and EAD) in Oct 2016 (I am here on F-1)
in Nov I went for fingerprints
in Dec they requested more Docs RFE (this was about birth certificate and Affidavit of support. never asked about medicals though...)
I sent them the required docs
in Jan 25th case status was updated (we received your response to our request , we will notify you our decision in mail or let you know if we need something from you)
in Feb my EAD was issued and mailed to me (my AP case is not updated since Oct)

Q1: Can I submit my medicals now?
Q2: will I have an interview eventually ?
Q3: when they sent EDA is it actually a good sign ?
Q4: if they deny AOS , does it mean I-130 is also denied or just I-485

    Thanks,

    Thanks,
You dont have to submit it now, wait till you get your interview notice, then go for the medicals and dont forget to take it along with you to the interview.

      Thanks,
You dont have to submit it now. My lawyer advise me not to get medical done till you get an interview schedule because the AOS process can take very long. if your medical records expire and the interview come up then you have to do another one. i didnt submit my medicals either
If everything goes smoothly, you'll have an interview. some lucky people even get their green card straight up with no interview so who knows
when they send EAD, im not sure what you mean good sign but it mean you can work while you wait for your green card so i guess it's a good thing.
i dont have enough experience to answer the last one but as far as i remember, both of them are connected so if I-485 is approved, I-130 will be too and likewise but dont count on me on this cause im not 100% sure. the rest i'm more certain because i've been through it.
