    Hello Queen lady, you still have a long wait.
    I come fron Winter Springs so Orlando is the closest field office down by the airposrt and I still have a couple of months.
    Applications are processed FIFO if you are married to a SUC.
    My app was accepted 07/06/2016 so its still aways off.

      USCIS Update for March 2017

      USCIS has updated their Processing times and a new Visa Bulletin is out.

        Queenlady, yesterday my status changed to interview scheduled. How ever I'm confused as they say I may not need and interview. Here is the screenshot:

          I had my case in Tampa and just wanted to share my time line with you as well if it helps

          March 1, 2016 - Arrived in the United States

          August 4, 2016 - submitted our AOS package (I-130, I-485, I-765) (USPS Priority Mail)

          August 8, 2016 - Package arrived at USCIS Chicago Lockbox

          August 19. 2016 - at 12:26 am I received email notifications that our application has been accepted and routed to the USCIS National Benefits Center for processing.

          August 21, 2016 - all cases receipts are working online. I registered for email and text alerts here.

          August 22, 2016 - got hard copies of Notice of Actions (NOA) in the mail. Notice date is August 17, 2016.

          October 21, 2016 - received biometrics letter in the mail (Finally! Almost 2 months from NOA 1 date).

          November 4, 2016 - I-765, Employment Authorization Document (EAD) updated online to 'Case was Approved' on October 31.

          November 7, 2016 - received EAD approval notice in the mail.

          November 14, 2016 - Biometrics appointment in Tampa (in and out within 35 mins). Check my post about my experience here.

          November 15, 2016 - I-765, (EAD) updated online to 'New Card Is Being Produced'.

          November 18, 2016 - I-765, (EAD) updated online to 'Card Mailed to Me'.

          November 22, 2016 - I-765, (EAD) updated online to 'Card Was Delivered To Me By The Post Office' and found it in the mailbox!

          November 28, 2016 - Applied for Social Security Number (SSN). Check my post about my experience here.

          December 3, 2016 - SS card received in the mailbox.

          January 27, 2017 - Received a text message from USCIS that there is a change in my case. I now have a schedule for interview and it's on March 2!

          January 30, 2017 - Received the Interview Appointment letter in the Mail.

          March 2, 2017 - Interview Schedule

          March 7, 2017 - received the Welcome Letter

          March 9, 2017 - received the Green Card

              Hello all, after filing for AOS July 5 2016 my case is ready for interview at the Orlando Office tomorrow at 9:00 AM

                        My name is Greta and I have my interview later this month in the Orlando field office. Hope everyone is doing well!
                        Any updates on this thread? I'm a little nervous for the onterview and was just wondering how the Orlando office is in general. Are they straight forward or do they get into detail about things such as finances?

                            Filing from Orlando too. My PD is 09/18, filed an SR on 12/01 for 765/131. Just sitting back playing the waiting game.

                              Hey! february 2nd this is my timeline:



                              Feb 1st- sent out paperwork
                              Feb 2nd- paperwork received
                              Feb 10th- text i-797 confirmation, check cashed
                              Feb 25th- biometrics apt notice received for March 8th.
                              Mar 8th- biometrics apt. Took 30mins
                              May 9th- "the case is ready to be scheduled for interview."
                              May 1st- "new card is being produced."
                              May 8th- received EAD card in mail (valid till 4/30/18)
                              November 21st- Interview notice received (December 21st)
