Don?t make Infopass. It doesn?t help at all.

Last week I made Infopass, waited 2 hours and got general answers within 2 minutes. It wasted my time. We can do nothing but wait for our luck, really. The officer there told the lastest case is Sep 2016 as stated on the website. Sigh. Go ahead to renew EAD asap.

Update: my case online says cannot provide information. @UScitizenFilingforspouse thabk you for response, yes I have an account at my.uscis.gov it says as of sep 11 2017 we are ready to schedule your interview. I am back in job searching but afraid when prospect employers would ask for my immigration status/ID and would see I have a temporary DL and my EAD is expiring in 4 months. What are the steps on renewing the EAD?
Also I cannot schedule an infopasa ever online, I tried to call the tier 2 immigration officer and they are no help. Its just getting really frustrated. I had few companies called me but was told they would only hire GC holders/USC. (

Still waiting for an interview. Has anyone the same situation like me?
Please don?t forget to update us your notice. As far as I know you are the next. Have you known anyone filed in March or April without RFE?

      Renewal EAD/AP

do I have to pay for filing renewal of EAD/AP? Are there any known thread/guidelines for it? I have all the NOA and can submit it but I want to make sure I studied carefully so there will be no delay. Please let me know . Thanks in advance.

September 28th, 2016 = Case inquiry date. ***Should not be confused with the old way of reporting processing times. "as of January 31st, we are processing cases from 02/28/17" - That's the last update in that format before they made the switch to the new one.

You are filing under (c)9. No fee is required. Same application. You're supposed to send it in within 6 months of expiration. Employers should not be asking you for proof of employment authorization before hiring you. They have to offer you a job first. Then on your first day, you go to Human Resources and bring your IDs. It's illegal. I opened a thread on this.

            Inaccurate info/ data

@ FiKenLast , I DOUBT THAT INFO GIVEN TO YOU IS ACCURATE BASED ON PREVIOUS DATA/ INFO POSTED BY USCIS. AT THE END OF JANUARY THEY WERE PROCESSING I 485 AS OF FEBRUARY 2017 AND NOW WE ARE AT THE END OF APRIL SO THAT INFO GIVEN TO YOU IS A FALSE.

DONT LOSE HOPE HANG IN THERE IT MIGHT TAKE UP TO A YEAR TO GET APPROVED BASED ON OTHER APPLICANTS EXPERIENCE. I'M AN AUGUST FILER AND SOME TIMES THATS THE ONLY THING THAT I THINK ABOUT. BUT WHAT ELSE CAN I DO BUT JUST WAIT !!!

Is this the error message you are getting?

No fee is required. If your AOS is marriage based, then you are in category c9. Thus, your EAD is automatically renewed for 180 days, as long as you have filed a timely application for renewal and get the I-797. That I-797 serves as your renewal.
