Hi, I had a F-1 visa and I was out of status about 2 months. I had my interview 2 weeks ago and the I.O did not ask anything about it.

But he asked me the all of the school names where I attended IN ORDER and the locations.

I had 2 passports. One was expired and the other one is currently used. And the I.O pointed out the expired passport and asked me that if I graduated from the school. It was tricky and I was so confused. I was not sure which school he asked about since I attended several ESL schools and a college. What he meant was the school which its name was printed on my first F-1 visa page. He never opened the expired passport. He just pointed out it.

So your I.O could ask the name of college/esl school names and locations(city name) in order where your husband attended.

By the way, I attended 3 esl schools and 2 colleges and I had a F-1 visa for almost 8 years.

Hope it helps you and good luck!

Your husband entered with inspection and is adjusting his status to permanent residence based on his marriage to his US citizen spouse.

Therefore, assuming he is otherwise admissible, he is eligible for adjustment of status despite having been out of status or having worked without work authorization.

You have nothing to worry about
