03/29 I-485 Status Changed to case is ready to be scheduled to an interview

Do you know when i will receive my work permission?
I'm just wondering how long it takes after the biometric done

You should receive your work authorization within 90 days of filing. Good news that your status has already changed. May I ask where you are filing from?

Yes, 90 days from when they received your application (priority date). These days I think this is just a guideline, since it looks like alot of people are taking longer to get theirs.

Since I see most of you are with Feb priority dates, I figured I would share my timeline as well


Marriage-based, concurrent filing I-130 ,I-485, I-765

Feb 13: Priority Date
March 21: Biometrics appointment completed
April 17th: I-485 Interview ready to be scheduled

No updates for EAD yet. It hasn't been 90 days, so I guess I have some more waiting ahead.

Oh, and also local office is Charlotte, NC.

Hello! My husband's priority date is late February.

Biometrics: 3/29/17
Ready for interview 4/10/17


No news yet on the interview or the EAD. I see people talking about a "service request". What is this and when is the right time to do it? We are most concerned about getting his EAD. I also see people talking about this 90 day period. What is that about? Do we need to do something at 90 days? Any help is much appreciated. Thank you!!
