  • New form I-130a

Just a little heads up for those who are filing real soon. The I-130a replaces the g325a, came close to sending my packet out without it. This process has been stressful , especially when they have been making subtle changes with the forms the past few weeks. Good luck

Seriously!? I sent my case on February 24th and USCIS received it on February 27th. I didn't file this form because they updated it on February 27th. I didn't even see it. What's gonna happen now😥

The old edition of the form is still accepted until 4/28/17.

May I ask what is this new I-130A form? I searched on uscis.gov website but couldn't find this new I-130A form. All I could see is I-130 form. Thanks.

It's on the I-130 page. If you are using the newest edition of the I-130 form, for petitioning a spouse, the spouse needs to fill out I-130A. If you are still using the old edition of the I-130 form, you wouldn't use I-130A, but instead, for petitioning a spouse, both petitioner and beneficiary need to fill out a G-325A.

Thanks, @newacct. Please let me know if this is correct for I-130 & I-485 concurrent filling:
            - New I-130 + I-130A (We don't need both G-325A)
            - I-485 (We still need 2 of G-325A for my wife and me)

Please let me know if this is correct. Thank you.

I-485 needs a G-325A from the beneficiary only.
