Atlanta Office Filers

Hi guys,

For those who filed through Atlanta office (which include entire GA and AL), I wonder what everybody's timeline is.

It's been my 84th day after uscis received my case, but I haven't heard any updates yet since I did my bio almost 50 days ago. I called the uscis service, but still haven't heard anything back yet - no EAD, no status change to "ready to schedule interview".

My attorney told me that it typically take Atlanta office 4-5 months to have interview scheduled, but it's been three months, and I still even couldn't get a "ready to schedule" status, should I worry about it?

I did receive my EAD on day 91st and - after having done my bio on Dec 5th - have been waiting for the interview to be scheduled (last update is Dec 16th - "we are ready to schedule your interview"). Few days ago I called the Customer Service line and was told that Atlanta office is currently "behind" and working on 2016 May applications... Considering that I applied in October, the lady said I have another 4-5 months of waiting. Not a very promising news, I'm afraid.

Maybe try applying for AP?

If you haven't alrady done so, maybe try appying for AP in order to leave the country. I initally did not apply but, considering that GC processing is taking much longer than expected, I ahve filed my AP documents today.

Take a chill pill...

Applied August 10th 2017 - Fingerprint Sept 28 - Just got an interview 3/24/117 - waiting on oath letter. It will happen. Atlanta is behind (per the officer) and you just have to wait... No way around this.

Hi there, i will share my experience so far
feb 14 - sent documents
feb 16 - documents arrived
feb 22 - got a message on the phone with receipts numbers
feb 27 - got letter in the mail with the receipts numbers
Mar 9 - got biometrics appt on the mail (couldnt go to date they choose so i went there mar 10 and got it done)
march 23 - case is ready to be schedule for an interview

NOA : Received for i485 & i765 : PD =02/13/2017
RFE : Request for initial evidence : = 03/01/2017
BIO Appointment received = 03/07/2017
Responded to RFE: =03/17/2017
Walk in Bio Appointment = 03/20/2017
RFE Status updated(Rcv'd) = 03/21/2017
Case is ready to be scheduled for interview = 03/28/2017

Received bio appt in mail 1-28-17
Bio appt 2-9-17
RFE in mail 2-10-17
RFE received on 2-14-17
Ready to be scheduled for interview 2-22-17
No more updates

Finally got an update saying my EAD card is being produced on the 110th day!! But no updates for other applications yet, so kind of jealous for people got "case is ready to schedule for an interview" so quick!

ATL PD NOV 30th 2016

I am an Atlanta Flier with PD NOV 30TH 2016
Praise be to God I just got an update on my EAD after waiting 119days on March 30th card production and this was after 2 expedited made on 99 and 110 days which were denied and finally got tired and contacted my Congressman on the 22nd of March. I still don't have ready to schedule interview on 485. Please be patient and find a hobby to keep your mind busy because the waiting is horrible. Pray to God for patience and mercy and all will be fine.

Hi smilezz, I just got my interview scheduled for August 18th. My filing date is October 2016. Hope this helps you with the time frame.

Status has been "read to be scheduled for an interview" since Feb 22, 2017.
