RFE after 90 days from PD

Hi guys. I'm crying right now. So my pd is Dec12 2016. I didn't get no RFE until this day so I was waiting patiently on my EAD. Just a few mins ago I got an email saying that they mailed the RFE on I485. I'm pretty sure it's on the affidavit. My husband is the sponsor but he doesn't make enough so we got a joint sponsor but i don't think she makes enough either. I saw that most of the people get the RFE in a month or 2 the most. Why did they wait 3 months to send mine? Does this mean that my EAD is gonna be on hold?

Not sure where the 2 month rule for RFE came in, I just got mine a couple of weeks ago and that's 7 months after filing, I already have my EAD and everything, just not GC.
Try to remain calm, it may be something much easier to deal with, mine was a vaccine that was out of date.
