So i am filling for i 485, my spouse doesn't make enough so i want to use a joint sponsor.
The joint sponsor i am using owners a truck company, He made 110k and 80K in 2015 and 2014 respectively but now in 2016 he didnt file for his truck company because he didn't work with truck business and his total income was 27K for his personal tax. Now last year tax season is yet to end, so i am wondering if i should file with his 2015 2014 and 2013 taxes or i should file with 2016 2015 2014, i am scared because 2016 is low, the 125% is meant to be 40K. what do i do

What matters is his current (i.e. right now, this moment) income, not what he made in 2016, 2015, or 2014.

If this potential joint sponsor's current income is insufficient, then yes, you need to find another one.
