This is one of the most interesting pieces of evidence i have ever come across. Thinking outside the box.

He doesn't charge a lot because he knows people can't afford it especially if they have no insurance and USCIS does not regulate the fees charged by civil surgeons for the completion of a medical examination, so one doctor can charge more and one can charge less.
That's crazy awesome. We used my health savings account through my work to reimburse for ours (thank goodness they let us). You should share his contact information on some local forums to help others out with finding a great Civil Surgeon that doesn't rip people off!

Every little bit helps. Our evidence shows we have shared ownership of a home, vehicles, insurance policies, bank accounts, pets, gym memberships, utility accounts... All registered to our home address. We have photos, the wedding guestbook, cards from friends and family, and details about current projects and future plans together. Our future plans we've included shows our home remodeling project, plans to convert our barn to usable workshop space, plans for a 2-bedroom addition for our kids to stay in when they come to visit from their mum's... You're trying to prove that you've built a life together, and that can be a difficult thing to do.

        • Hello,

I did raised an SR through online for my EAD last July 05. I am thinking again to raise an SR but via phone this time.

When I raised an SR through online I received this message.

USCIS will review and process the request
          Expect a reply by July 17, 2017
Your request ID number is SR **** **** ***MSC

Does it really takes too long now to answer our SR? Is it only via online thats why it takes too long?
I am thinking to call them this time? Any suggestions? Have anyone of you did an SR online and call them afterwards?

Getting stress out here! Thanks a lot.

This is very helpful. But why even bother with the tracker if they aren't going to use it?! Haha.

They make it really tough to get the kinds of documents they are looking for - because many require an SSN. I can't count on two hands the number of financial institutions which would not allow my husband and I to open a joint account because they were falsely citing the patriot act. :eyeroll: I think the evidence you have is great! Keep collecting anything you can think of. Get your name on Vet records as a joint pet-owner... Anything! We have an AKC registered Siberian Husky pup that my husband bought me for my birthday this year... I made sure I got his name on the owner's registration so we can use that to support our case as well...

$150 in NY?! Ours was $600 in Portland and that doesn't include the vaccinations we had to redo!

Congrats and good luck! What is your field office?

The USCIS case monitor hasn't been updated for the Portland field office since April, they were working on September applications at that time. I think we won't get our interview until September. (Our PD is 3/21)

                            • Got a response for my EAD

I did an online SR for my EAD last July 5th (99 days mark). After that I received an email that I should expect a response by July 17th.

Today I received this three messages:
07/11--- On July 11/17, your inquiry about the status of your EAD referral number SR **** **** **** *MSC, was completed.
07/11--- On July 11/17, we sent a response to your inquiry about the status of your EAD, referral number SR **** **** **MSC.
07/11--- On July 11/17, your inquiry about the status of your EAD, referral number SR **** **** MSC, was assigned to an officer for response.

I just received my interview noticed by mail. Does it mean that I might received my EAD right before my interview?
Does anyone had the same situation?

Sending a positive vibes for all of us!

                              Thanks,

here is some info from my timeline...

                                5/3 - Received EAD approval (Day 106)
5/4 - Received notification of interview date (Day 107) - interview scheduled for 6/7
                                5/11 - EAD delivered (Day 114)
                                6/7 - Interview (Day 141)
6/8 - Received Green Card approval (Day 142)
                                6/16 - Green Card delivered (Day 150)

So I actually had my EAD in my hands for a whole 36 days before I received my physical green card. I did use the EAD to get a state ID (which expires at the same time the EAD does - so it is valid for only one year)
