what happens to family I-485 if I change job or if I'm fired?

Hey everyone,

My I-485 was approved but my wife's and son's have not been approved yet, basically because their I-485 filling was done after mine as they were out of the country at the time.
What would happen if I changed jobs or got fired before their process is finalized? Assumption is all would remain the same as they are not employees of the company, but checking for opinions.

Nothing would happen. Their case only depends upon your case, and they will be approved because you have already been approved. The validity of the petition is only judged for the approval of your case.
