  • How long does this take after the interview?

Our interview was a breeze. We didn't get asked any weird questions, and the picture of Bill Clinton on the guy's wall was a good sign. The only thing we had to send back was a current medical record since my wife's was over a year old, and since she'd been here years ago on a work visa he wanted more proof of that. She didn't have any pay stubs. We were going to see if the local Social Security office could help, but she opted to just send every other type of evidence she had. Letters, emails, etc. That was about 6 weeks ago that they received all that. The website doesn't show anything new. How long does all this take? One of her friends was in a totally **** marriage with her living in CT and the guy living in CA and at her friend's interview they knew it was b.s. asked for more proof, they got a gym membership and about two weeks later she got her green card. I was pissed to say the least. IMO people gaming the system shouldn't get approved, but how come a **** marriage green card gets approved in two weeks and six weeks later our legitimate marriage green card is still not approved?

Patience seems to be the only sword we have in this fight. We interviewed January 7th 2016, we were told we were approved but she (agent) wanted to go through our file once more and to expect the card in 2 weeks. Today is April 6th 2017 and we still have no clue or updates since our interview. We stopped calling and requesting inquiries because they seem to just get angry at us. This process has no set time frame for each step, they seem to do as they please and work at their own accord. Some people are lucky, while others not so much. Its the luck of the draw I guess!

I called today but didn't have the notice number. By the way, when you call hit * then 8. It gets you right to a real person. We're gonna try calling in the morning with the notice number. We just want to know they got our stuff. My wife wanted to go back to Peru for a wedding in May but it looks like that's off.

Was that a typo? You got interviewed fifteen months ago and are still waiting?
