Processing date passes my receipt date

Hello everyone, my wife's case is at a situation were the processing date at our local field office has passed her receipt date. We sent an inquiry about it and never received a response. The case status shows "rfe received 11/2/16. Is anyone going through the same? If so, what do you recommend us to do?

There is nothing you can do, at least you know they received your RFE. All you can do is wait. the adjustment of status usually takes between 6 months to a year. I you received an RFE those 6 months to a year of waiting time just restarted when they received your RFE. It sucks but thats the way it is, RFEs are the worst, they ALWAYS delay your process
